I have finally taken the leap and quit my 9-5 job. Actually it’s an 8-5 job, which means I wake up at 6 to get my kids ready and do the school run; and I am home by 6 after picking up my son from nursery. That’s a 12 hour day. If you count the next two hours when the kids have dinner, bath and their bedtime routine, it’s usually 8:30pm before I get any time for myself or my husband.
Congrats! It has been even more bumpy for me than I even anticipated but I would rather have these problems than deal with the full-time job I had as a parent! I look forward to continuing to follow your journey and thoughts. :)
