I am a 43 year old mum of 2 infants. I recently quit my 9-5 to go freelance and build my own business so that I can design my life around my work and be present for my kids.
I am learning to build my own online business, and trying to keep up with digital marketing between the chaos that is AI and web3.
More recently, I wrote, illustrated, designed and published a children's book using AI in 1 hour. It blew my mind.
I have self-published 17 low-content books and 1 memoir, and started affiliate marketing where I have made a grand sum of US$121 this year.
I have also just started learning the piano…
…and aerial silk.
In 2 weeks, I will go to a ladies rhumba styling salsa lesson after not having danced for 10 years.
All of the above are out of my comfort zone. Yet I am choosing to do them.
They push my boundaries and make me learn about my strengths and weaknesses.
They give me the confidence I need to go out there and make things happen, time and age no bar.
There will never be a good time to do any of the above.
There is never a good time to do anything, especially as a working parent of little children.
You just gotta get on with it.
If you have any interests you have shelved, get moving on them.
If you have any curiosities, follow them.
As cliche as it sounds, you have to make the time.
This Saturday (September 30), I will host a workshop for anyone looking to gain a little time by learning how to use AI so that they can work better and faster. Except, we won't be putting it to 'work', we will be having some fun getting it to write, illustrate and design a children's book in 1-hour. I truly believe that the only way to learn the potential of AI is by putting it to the task of doing something specific.
You will leave with basic knowledge of the most popular AI tools, and the exact method to do it yourself in an hour, and perhaps with your child, what a great activity to create a book together!
If this interests you, save your seat here below.
If this is not for you and you no longer want to hear about this workshop, please hit reply and say 'no' and you won't hear about it again! No hard feelings :)
That's all for today. Have a great week!
