I write you this after a wonderful action-packed weekend with my brother visiting from India. His main interest was the kids of course, so the weekend was spent at a painting studio, Funky Monkeys, Orange Wheels, and watching Moana, Simon and Zog (if you know, you know 🙂) My kids had an absolutely amazing time.
I also took my brother to learn Wim Hof breathing and for an ice-bath; so that was the cherry on the cake. It’s so great to have a sibling you are close to.
We are already in August, and next weekend we go to Scotland, and then summer is over. How is time flying so fast!?! I hope you are enjoying your summer too.
Now on to today’s newsletter. Last week I summarized some reports on how much creators actually make; you can read that here incase you missed it.
Today I’d like to give you some examples of creator mums who have aced their online presence to build a buisness of their dreams:
From potty training to 6 figure business from home: Andrea Olson, mother of 5, makes six-figures teaching parents how to potty train their kids before the age of 1.
In an attempt to save the amount we pay for nappies every year, Andrea managed to get her 5 kids to be nappy free before they even started walking (!). What's even more amazing is that when she realised that brands don't sell underwear for such small babies, she launched her own brand called Tiny-Undies!
Now she only works 4-5 hours a day, has complete freedom of time, and is set to hit 7 figures soon. 'Go diaper free' has not only given them freedom from nappies, but time and financial freedom too.
Stay At Home Mom to 7-figure entrepreneur: Suzi Whitford, mother of 3 is a full-time blogger and digital course creator who makes $30,000+ per month from home. I have personally done many of her courses (listed in the link); she is incredible.
Recently they did a one month roadtrip and still made a full time income while on vacation; they talk about it here. Their story is a great example of how you can ultimately automate activities to generate revenue around the content you create.
How Cassie Scroggins makes $5K/month empowering mums: Cassie started her online journey after facing an identity crisis after her first child. You can read about all her income streams and how she builds and manages them, here.
How Hilary Erickson makes $16K/month with her prenatal courses: Hilary has been blogging since 2005, starting with a mom blog that became a massive hit on Pinterest. Her blog now covers several topics reaching around 200k monthly page views and earning her between $12-16 thousand dollars each month, with most of that income coming from selling prenatal courses.
If it’s possible for these mums, it’s possible for any mum. You just need the right idea and the right tools.
